Joan Eseohe Edegbai hails from Edo State Nigeria, she is currently a part 2 law student in Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.

Joan has a penchant for writing and advocacy, this has earned her certain accolades among which her article on ‘The transatlantic slave trade’ was nominated for best by the Law Clinic association in year

  1. She was enlisted as top 10 in the NIMASA Essay writing contest to mark the world maritime day where she wrote an article on ‘Clearing the Apapa Port congestion’ and ‘Better Shipping for a Better Future’ respectively.

She won the British parliamentary style of debate organized by an association within her faculty. In the same year, she emerged as first runner up in the essay writing contest organized by her faculty.

Apart from academics, Joan has an impeccable flair for catering, poetry,tech, arts as well as music.
