Terms of Endearment: Maybe, Maybe Not.

Endearment packed in slates of ice, laid to rest in the cold
Loose feathers caught up in a squall sail to no destination,
Hope to return to the wings from hence they departed
May be, maybe not.

Hearts pounding without a race,
Without a pestle.
Eyes shut see nothing, beholds everything
A whiff of Queen of the Night lingers
For the last pair of fares
To deliver to the Flame of Fire at midday.
Maybe, maybe not.

Will broken dams chase floods of feelings down the valley?
Or pollens search for a flower on a stuck?
Maybe, maybe not.

Maybe may become what maybe not could not become.
Maybe, maybe not.
