I once looked for Collagen in Bottles.
Not really that I freaked for it but that life naturally brought me into such, from -my Parents.
They took care of me.
And they wanted me to look good, just the way any parent cares for their budding baby Girl.
The creams in vogue then, were not the Skin Lightening Creams of today.
And somehow our Culture frowned at people who changed skin colour, some years ago, unlike now.
Almost everyone seemed to be freaked about cosmetic Collagen cream, then.
One was especially good amongst many, so everywhere you went, you’d see Swiss Collagen.
That was way back then.
One day, I broke covenant with a growing dependence.
I wanted to.
I wished to rebuild my skin’s tonus.
I didn’t really need the collagen cream because I had a young, supple skin packed with a rich and sufficient amount of collagen, as a black Girl.
I noticed that it didn’t really make a difference when I stopped using it.
The only difference was that the faint fine skin hue it gave me, was gone.
I was back to black.
I wanted it that way, and my hue of black sheen skin looked good.
I was beginning to get wise.
So I sprinkled querying things I was groomed to do, into many of my new actions and decisions.
The next time my mom asked if my collagen cream hadn’t finished, I told her I didn’t need it.
Creams are designed.
This is what I thought.
And this is what I want to mention.
A cosmetic version of Collagen, is very possibly designed for someone who is beginning to lose out on his own Collagen.
It was an expensive cream and really, it didn’t have the right place on me, after I analysed it’s design.
My skin had enough plumpy look.
Just …fine young skin in all its glory!
As an older person, I make out time to boost my skin’s Collagen content naturally by visiting pathways that stimulate my body’s Collagen Production Sites, now and again.
I need to, because I don’t remember to wear on a cream on the skin.
I came to hint in this write up, that we all have collagen depots, in our bodies.
“Oil blocks” of Collagen, in the body.
Especially if you are Black.
There’s a major pathway beneath the Knee, that boosts the Collagen content of the Skin, so as to make it plumpy and regain it’s shape.
We are currently highly exposed to rapid ageing free Radicals, in the country.
They get to damage the skin or age it fast, even as they generally cause other harm to health.
People only often notice their recurrent fevers and headaches (caused by parasitic invasion), ailing kidneys, etc but they hardly relate the possibility of the skin damages they experience, to free radical attack.
Until a dependable attention is provided to stem the scourge of the parasites encouraging such massive damage to proteins in the body, ( including collagen proteins!), it will be wise to take care of the Skin, now and again.
You can rejuvenate the skin naturally, as you tap into those pathways and boost the Collagen production capacity.
